Something as simple as using unique icons on your blog can make your blog stand apart from the rest. These free hand drawn social media icons come in four sizes, transparent png, and quality resolution.

It is one of my goals here at Her-Media’s Blogging and Social Media Resource blog to provide bloggers with resources.

Every now and then I fond some great free icons and graphics on the web and this morning I have to share these high resolution PNG or PSD Icons I found yesterday.

The free icon set contains a variety of items you would find sitting on your office desk; notebook icon, dayplanner icon, key icon, journal icon, map icon, graded paper icon, and coffee cup icon.

At one time I spent hours searching for tutorials to create web 2.0 icons and web 2.0 buttons. All that wasted time when all along great designers like Function Web Design offer amazing sets of free website icon graphics.

I used the smiley face today on a box graphic to promote my Twitter Background Design Service. However, I have to say that the to go coffee cup really looks like a Tim Horton’s to go cup. Looking for some great creative and free RSS icons? I went on a little hunt last night and found some to share with you.

The first are offered by Mathew (the original creator of Mingle2) on his blog 0at.org.

While you are at his blog you should check out his work. Its amazing. Mathew has not just developer and programming skill but a natural talent for web 2.0 from concept to launch.

When I find an amazing free tool online I have to share it. If you have been searching for tutorials to make web 2.0 badges then you need to go to Fresh Badge Free web 2.0 badge maker.

The site states you can create a free web 2.0 badge or peel back seal in under one minute and once you figure out how the generator works you can create on in about three minutes.

It’s a handy tool when you don’t have time to wait for a designer and need an interim web 2.0 graphic solution.
