Marketing to women after a home purchase
Posted by: | CommentsI was reading Kaira Sturdivant Roud’s blog Real you Incorporated this morning and enjoyed her take on why you should be marketing to women in Real Estate;
According to Kaira’s blog;
• Women make or influence 91% of all home buying decisions.
• Women guide 94% of all home-furnishing purchases.
• Two-thirds of real estate agents are women.
• 78% of engaged women say that while they already have furniture, they’ll replace most or all of it when they marry.
I found the later interesting as I have often thought about what I will do if I ever co inhabit with a partner in the future and I don’t think I will bring my ‘past’ into the new home when it comes to general furnishings.
Take a look at her Video and learn about the spending habits of women after they make a home purchase.
Social Media – Think Women
Posted by: | CommentsA study of 13.2 million people conducted by Rapleaf shows that the launch of your social media site needs to target women.
The study shared by business weekly points out that while both men and women use Social media. The women far outpace the men.
“As a result, with the next wave of innovation likely to target women more than men, this gender gap on social networks (and increasingly in all of social media) will only widen. Naturally, male adoption of social media will grow as well. It just won’t keep pace with the expanding engagement among female users.”
